Japanese illustrator Kei, famous for designing the virtual idol vocaloid Hatsune Miku has been given the task to create a new character, named “Lily”. Interestingly, Crypton, the owner of the Vocaloid franchise said that it was not them that asked Kei to create it.



A life size bust of Evangelion Unit 01 will be built near the foot of Mount Fuji. A new pavilion called “Evangelion: World – Life-Size EVA-01 Construction Project” will be opened on July 23 by Japan’s Fuji-Q HighLand amusement park.
The place will include also a life size entry plug, and a gallery along with the usual gifts shop where visitors can waste all of their hard earned monies.



Masayuki Ishikawa and Preston Ale has collaborated to produce “Moyashimon Ale“, based upon Ishikawa-sensei’s famous manga series, Moyashimon.

Each of the 1,000 gift-box sets comes with three Moyashimon (Moyasimon) Ale bottles, one pale Preston Ale bottle, one brown Preston Ale bottle, two original Moyashimon beer glasses, and four Moyashimon coasters. (800 sets will be available online in Japan starting on May 21, and 200 more will only be available in two retail stores starting on June 4.)
